NITTOKU, Ordinary Profit Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Upward by 15%, Highest in Two Terms, Dividend Revised Upward by 2 Yen

Earnings ReportNITTOKU CO., LTD. <6145> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 13th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) surged 6.9 times that of the same period last year, reaching 4.29 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 15.0%, from the previous forecast of 4.00 billion yen to 4.60 billion yen (compared to 1.22 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 3.3 times to 3.8 times, reaches new record high for the first time in two terms.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to increase 38.2%, from the previous forecast of 1.57 billion yen to 2.17 billion yen (compared to 1.18 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), increasing the growth rate from 32.8% to 83.6%.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 60 yen to 62 yen (compared to 42 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit surged 3.2 times that of the same period last year, reaching 1.86 billion yen. The operating profit margin drastically improved from 6.4% in the same period last year to 16.0%.
