Earnings ReportDainichiseika Color & Chemicals Mfg. Co., Ltd. <4116> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on February 13th (14:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) increased 6.8% from the same period last year, reaching 6.93 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 3.7%, from the previous forecast of 8.20 billion yen to 8.50 billion yen (compared to 7.76 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 5.6% to 9.5%.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) has been revised upward 8.1%, from the previous forecast of 3.71 billion yen to 4.01 billion yen (compared to 4.01 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 7.5% to 0.05%.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 174 yen to 208 yen (compared to 156 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 2.44 billion yen, a 10.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 7.9% in the same period last year to 6.6%.
