Earnings Report

MITANI CORPORATIN <8066> [TSE Std] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on February 13th (13:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) increased 5.5% from the same period last year, reaching 25.7 billion yen.

In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 3.2%, from the previous forecast of 31.4 billion yen to 32.4 billion yen (compared to 33.6 billion yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 6.6% to 3.6%.

Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) has been revised upward 6.7%, from the previous forecast of 15.0 billion yen to 16.0 billion yen (compared to 18.2 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 17.6% to 12.1%.

In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 77 yen to 80 yen (compared to 66 yen in the previous period).

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit grew 4.0% from the same period last year, reaching 9.37 billion yen. The operating profit margin remained almost flat, changing from 9.3% in the same period last year to 9.4%.
