The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) decreased 16.5% from the same period last year to 459 million yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 640 million yen was 71.7%, almost the same as the five-year average of 70.3%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to surge 5.5 times that of the same period last year, reaching 181 million yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the ordinary profit significantly dropped to 127 million yen, a 53.3% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin drastically worsened from 9.1% in the same period last year to 4.3%.
