Earnings ReportKOKUSAI ELECTRIC CORPORATION <6525> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the afternoon session on February 12th (14:30). The consolidated net income for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) decreased 12.4% from the same period last year to 22.8 billion yen. However, Progress toward the full-year plan of 27.9 billion yen was 81.8%, also surpassing the three-year average of 75.5%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to drop 48.9% from the same period last year to 5.07 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated net income decreased to 7.26 billion yen, a 9.2% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 20.4% in the same period last year to 17.6%.
