SEIKA, Ordinary Profit Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Upward to an Unexpected 2% Increase, Raises Record High Profit, Dividend Revised Upward by 8 Yen

Earnings ReportSEIKA CORPORATION <8061> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on February 12th (14:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) decreased 5.8% from the same period last year to 5.54 billion yen.
However, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 18.9%, from the previous forecast of 7.15 billion yen to 8.50 billion yen (compared to 8.29 billion yen in the previous period), record profits reach two consecutive terms, turning to a 2.4% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to increase 39.8%, from the previous forecast of 3.39 billion yen to 4.74 billion yen (compared to 4.03 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 17.5% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 147 yen to 155 yen (compared to 220 yen before the 3-for-1 forward stock split in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit grew 10.4% from the same period last year, reaching 1.78 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 6.0% in the same period last year to 7.2%.
