KAPPA･CREATE CO.,LTD. <7421> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 10th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) dropped 37.5% from the same period last year to 0.49 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 1.90 billion yen was 25.9%, also falling below the same period of the previous year of 54.3%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to surge 2.1 times that of the same period last year, reaching 1.40 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit/loss turned to a loss of 0.34 billion yen (compared to a profit of 0.22 billion yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin drastically worsened from 1.2% in the same period last year to -2.2%.
