Earnings ReportNIHON DEMPA KOGYO CO., LTD. <6779> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on February 10th (15:30). The consolidated net income for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) dropped 45.5% from the same period last year to 1.08 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 1.70 billion yen was 64.1%, also falling below the five-year average of 85.5%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income/loss for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to turn into a profit of 0.61 billion yen (compared to a loss of 0.20 billion yen in the same period last year).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated net income significantly dropped to 0.28 billion yen, a 51.4% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin drastically worsened from 9.6% in the same period last year to 5.7%.
