Earnings ReportNOZAWA CORPORATION <5237> [TSE Std] announced its financial results in the morning on February 6th (11:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) increased 6.1% from the same period last year, reaching 1.72 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 2.19 billion yen was 78.9%, it was below the five-year average of 85.3%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to surge 2.2 times that of the same period last year, reaching 0.46 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 0.51 billion yen, a 14.3% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 9.5% in the same period last year to 9.0%.
