Earnings ReportYOKOGAWA ELECTRIC CORPORATION <6841> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 3rd (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) was 61.9 billion yen, a 2.0% increase compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 4.8%, from the previous forecast of 83.0 billion yen to 87.0 billion yen (compared to 85.3 billion yen in the previous period), record profits reach four consecutive terms, turning to a 1.9% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) has been revised upward 9.2%, from the previous forecast of 43.3 billion yen to 47.3 billion yen (compared to 49.4 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 12.4% to 4.3%.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 64 yen to 78 yen (compared to 58 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 22.3 billion yen, a 10.4% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 15.5% in the same period last year to 14.1%.
