Nippon Signal, Net Income Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Upward to an Unexpected 12% Increase, Raises Record High Profit, Dividend Revised Upward by 7 Yen

Earnings ReportNippon Signal Company,Limited <6741> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on February 3rd (13:00). The consolidated net income for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) expanded 4.01 billion yen, an increase 56.9% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated net income has been revised upward 26.7%, from the previous forecast of 7.50 billion yen to 9.50 billion yen (compared to 8.50 billion yen in the previous period), record profits reach two consecutive terms, turning to an 11.7% increase in the consolidated net income outlook.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated net income for the October to March period (second half) is expected to increase 32.8%, from the previous forecast of 6.10 billion yen to 8.10 billion yen (compared to 6.87 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to an 18.0% increase in the consolidated net income outlook.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 43 yen to 50 yen (compared to 43 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated net income surged 2.8 times that of the same period last year, reaching 2.61 billion yen. The operating profit margin drastically improved from 2.3% in the same period last year to 12.1%.
