WELLNET CORPORATION <2428> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on January 30th (16:00). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2026 (July to December) decreased 10.7% from the same period last year to 0.73 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 1.70 billion yen was 43.0%, also falling below the five-year average of 52.0%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the January to June period (second half) is expected to grow 14.7% from the same period last year, reaching 0.96 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (2Q), the ordinary profit decreased to 0.36 billion yen, a 7.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the operating profit margin rose from 14.1% in the same period last year to 14.3%.
