KONAMI, Net Income Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Upward by 15%, Raises Record High Profit Forecast, Dividend Revised Upward by 24.5 Yen

Earnings ReportKONAMI GROUP CORPORATION <9766> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on January 29th (15:30). The consolidated net income for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) increased 17.8% from the same period last year, reaching 74.3 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated net income has been revised upward 14.7%, from the previous forecast of 75.0 billion yen to 86.0 billion yen (compared to 74.6 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 0.4% to 15.1%, further surpassing the previous forecast of record-high profits for three consecutive terms.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated net income for the October to March period (second half) is expected to increase 38.6%, from the previous forecast of 28.5 billion yen to 39.5 billion yen (compared to 38.2 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 3.2% increase in the consolidated net income outlook.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 166 yen to 190.5 yen (compared to 165.5 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated net income grew 4.3% from the same period last year, reaching 27.8 billion yen. The operating profit margin rose from 29.1% in the same period last year to 29.3%.
