KUMIAI CHEMICAL INDUSTRY CO.,LTD. <4996> [TSE Prime] announced a performance revision in the afternoon session on December 10th (15:00). The consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending October 2025 has been revised upward 26.7%, from the previous forecast of 10.5 billion yen to 13.3 billion yen (compared to 18.3 billion yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 42.6% to 27.3%.

Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the May to October period (second half) consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 2.3 times, from the previous forecast of 2.20 billion yen to 5.00 billion yen (compared to 5.31 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 58.4% to 5.7%.
