Earnings Reporti-plug,Inc. <4177> [TSE Growth] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on November 14th (15:15). The consolidated ordinary loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) expanded to a loss of 97 million yen (compared to a loss of 48 million yen in the same period last year).
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to grow 26.8% from the same period last year, reaching 795 million yen.
At the same time, the company, which had previously planned no dividend for the current fiscal year, has decided to implement a year-end lump-sum dividend of 54 yen (compared to no dividend in the prior term).
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 186 million yen, a 27.3% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin significantly dropped from 20.1% in the same period last year to 13.3%.
