6544 JAPAN ELEVATOR SERVICE HOLDINGS CO.,LTD. 【J-GAAP】
Earnings ReportJAPAN ELEVATOR SERVICE HOLDINGS CO.,LTD. <6544> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 13th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) expanded 5.13 billion yen, an increase 30.2% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 6.0%, from the previous forecast of 10.0 billion yen to 10.6 billion yen (compared to 8.62 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 16.0% to 23.0%, further surpassing the previous forecast of record-high profits for nine consecutive terms.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to grow 16.8% from the same period last year, reaching 5.46 billion yen.
In light of the strong performance, the company has decided to implement a year-end lump-sum dividend of 19 yen for the current fiscal year, which was previously undecided (compared to 31 yen before the 2-for-1 forward stock split in the previous term)
Taking into account the 2-for-1 forward stock split implemented in September 2025, this will effectively result in a 22.6% increase in dividends.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 31.2% from the same period last year, reaching 2.62 billion yen. The operating profit margin rose from 17.1% in the same period last year to 19.5%.
