Earnings ReportRigaku Holdings Corporation <268A> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on November 11th (15:30). The consolidated net income for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2025 (January to September) significantly dropped 52.5% from the same period last year to 4.27 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 12.3 billion yen was 34.7%, also falling below the same period of the previous year of 66.0%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the October to December period (4Q) is expected to expand 73.7% from the same period last year, reaching 8.03 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (3Q), the consolidated net income significantly dropped to 0.49 billion yen, an 80.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin sharply declined from 16.0% in the same period last year to 4.5%.
