The consolidated net income for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) dropped 43.0% from the same period last year to 0.80 billion yen.
However, the full-year forecast for consolidated net income has been revised upward 30.8%, from the previous forecast of 1.30 billion yen to 1.70 billion yen (compared to 1.79 billion yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 27.5% to 5.1%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the October to March period (second half) is expected to surge 2.3 times that of the same period last year, reaching 0.89 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated net income significantly dropped to 0.33 billion yen, a 55.0% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin drastically worsened from 8.5% in the same period last year to 4.7%.
