THE HOWA BANK,LTD. <8559> [FSE] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on November 10th (15:00). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) dropped 36.4% from the same period last year to 0.63 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 1.15 billion yen was 55.6%, below the five-year average of 78.9%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to expand 50.3% from the same period last year, reaching 0.51 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the ordinary profit amounted to 0.52 billion yen, an increase of 1.6% compared to the same period last year.
