Fujikura, Ordinary Profit Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Upward by 24%, Raises Record High Profit Forecast, Dividend Revised Upward by 40 Yen

Earnings ReportFujikura Ltd. <5803> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on November 7th (14:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) expanded 91.7 billion yen, an increase 75.7% compared to the same period last year, exceeded the previous forecast of 79.0 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 24.3%, from the previous forecast of 148 billion yen to 184 billion yen (compared to 137 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 7.8% to 34.1%, further surpassing the previous forecast of record-high profits for four consecutive terms.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to grow 8.5% from the same period last year, reaching 92.2 billion yen.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 150 yen to 190 yen (compared to 100 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 91.2% from the same period last year, reaching 49.9 billion yen. The operating profit margin rose from 13.4% in the same period last year to 16.9%.
