TAIYO HOLDINGS, Ordinary Profit Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Upward by 12%, Raises Record High Profit Forecast, Dividend Effectively Increased

Earnings ReportTAIYO HOLDINGS CO.,LTD. <4626> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results at noon (12:00) on November 6th. The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) increased 21.4% from the same period last year, reaching 15.0 billion yen, exceeded the previous forecast of 12.7 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 11.8%, from the previous forecast of 23.7 billion yen to 26.5 billion yen (compared to 21.5 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 9.8% to 22.8%, further surpassing the previous forecast of record-high profits for two consecutive terms.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to grow 24.7% from the same period last year, reaching 11.4 billion yen.
At the same time, due to a planned 2-for-1 forward stock split is scheduled for November 30, the annual dividend for the current fiscal year has been revised from the original plan of 290 yen to 237.5 yen (equivalent to 310 yen before the forward stock split) This effectively represents a 6.9% increase in the annual dividend.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 35.1% from the same period last year, reaching 8.42 billion yen. The operating profit margin rose from 20.9% in the same period last year to 23.5%.
