The consolidated net income for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) expanded 1.79 billion yen, an increase 59.1% compared to the same period last year. Progress toward the full-year plan of 4.20 billion yen was 42.7%, exceeding the five-year average of 28.9%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the October to March period (second half) is expected to decrease 29.7% from the same period last year to 2.40 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated net income/loss turned to a profit of 1.17 billion yen (compared to a loss of 0.11 billion yen in the same period last year). However, the operating profit margin worsened from 2.8% in the same period last year to 1.7%.
