Earnings ReportKANEMATSU CORPORATION <8020> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the afternoon session on October 31st (14:00). The consolidated net income for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) increased 6.6% from the same period last year, reaching 16.1 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 30.0 billion yen was 53.8%, almost the same as the five-year average of 52.7%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the October to March period (second half) is expected to grow 12.4% from the same period last year, reaching 13.8 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated net income grew 19.3% from the same period last year, reaching 9.15 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 5.1% in the same period last year to 5.5%.
