The consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2026 (March to August) turned into a 399 million yen (compared to a break even in the same period last year), exceeded the previous forecast of 160 million yen.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the September to February period (second half) is expected to expand 97.0% from the same period last year, reaching 461 million yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from June to August (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit/loss turned to a profit of 210 million yen (compared to a loss of 44 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit margin significantly improved from 6.8% in the same period last year to 10.7%.
