SCAT Inc. <3974> [TSE Std] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on September 12th (13:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending October 2025 (November 2024 to July 2025) increased 16.5% from the same period last year, reaching 148 million yen. However, Progress toward the full-year plan of 215 million yen was 68.8%, also falling below the five-year average of 84.5%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the August to October period (4Q) is expected to surge 2.3 times that of the same period last year, reaching 67 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from May to July (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit/loss turned to a profit of 54 million yen (compared to a loss of 2 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin drastically improved from -0.5% in the same period last year to 8.4%.
