ESPEC CORP. <6859> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on August 7th (15:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to June) significantly dropped 69.1% from the same period last year to 0.34 billion yen. Progress toward the plan for the six months ending September (first half) of 3.45 billion yen was 10.0%, also falling below the five-year average of 23.8%.

In the most recent three-month period, from April to June (1Q), the operating profit margin drastically worsened from 6.7% in the same period last year to 2.7%.
