Earnings ReportSuntory Beverage & Food Limited <2587> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the afternoon session on August 7th (13:00). The consolidated net income for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2025 (January to June) decreased 11.5% from the same period last year to 41.1 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 90.0 billion yen was 45.7%, almost the same as the five-year average of 48.4%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the July to December period (second half) is expected to grow 4.0% from the same period last year, reaching 48.8 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from April to June (2Q), the consolidated net income amounted to 25.7 billion yen, a 2.0% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 10.6% in the same period last year to 10.1%.
