The consolidated net income for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to June) significantly dropped 50.2% from the same period last year to 196 billion yen.
However, the full-year forecast for consolidated net income has been revised upward 68.0%, from the previous forecast of 250 billion yen to 420 billion yen (compared to 835 billion yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 70.1% to 49.8%.
In the most recent three-month period, from April to June (1Q), the operating profit margin drastically worsened from 9.0% in the same period last year to 4.6%.
