KANEMATSU CORPORATION <8020> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the afternoon session on August 1st (14:00). The consolidated net income for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to June) decreased 6.4% from the same period last year to 6.98 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 30.0 billion yen was 23.3%, almost the same as the five-year average of 24.6%.

In the most recent three-month period, from April to June (1Q), the operating profit margin worsened from 4.7% in the same period last year to 4.2%.
