Hitachi, Ltd. <6501> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on July 31st (15:30). The consolidated net income for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to June) increased 9.6% from the same period last year, reaching 192 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 710 billion yen was 27.1%, almost the same as the five-year average of 22.3%.

In the most recent three-month period, from April to June (1Q), the operating profit margin improved from 8.9% in the same period last year to 9.3%.
