Earnings ReportJOHNAN ACADEMIC PREPARATORY INSTITUTE,INC. <4720> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 20th (17:30). The consolidated net loss for the fiscal year ending March 2025 expanded to a loss of 420 million yen (compared to a loss of 122 million yen in the previous period). For the fiscal year ending March 2026, the consolidated net income/loss is expected to turn into a profit of 93 million yen.
At the same time, the company plans to pay a final dividend of 5 yen, reinstating dividends for the first time in two terms.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net loss expanded to a loss of 281 million yen (compared to a loss of 116 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin drastically worsened from -3.8% in the same period last year to -16.1%.
