ASAHI INTECC, The Current Fiscal Year Ordinary Profit Revised Upward by 14%, Raises Record High Profit Forecast

Earnings ReportASAHI INTECC CO.,LTD. <7747> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 15th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2025 (July 2024 to March 2025) expanded 25.5 billion yen, an increase 30.4% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the full-year consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 13.5%, from the previous forecast of 25.5 billion yen to 28.9 billion yen (compared to 21.9 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 16.2% to 32.0%, further surpassing the previous forecast of record-high profits for four consecutive terms. However, the full-year consolidated net income has decreased 39.8%, from the previous forecast of 18.8 billion yen to 11.3 billion yen (compared to 15.8 billion yen in the previous period). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 28.4% decrease in profit.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to June period (2H) is expected to increase 39.7%, from the previous forecast of 8.7 billion yen to 12.1 billion yen (compared to 8.49 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), increasing the growth rate from 2.5% to 43.2%.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 42.7% from the same period last year, reaching 8.77 billion yen. The operating profit margin rose from 23.3% in the same period last year to 27.4%.
