Basis, Jul-Mar (Cumulative 3Q) Ordinary Profit Increases by 33 times, Exceeds Full-Year Plan
4068 Basis Corporation 【J-GAAP】
Earnings ReportBasis Corporation <4068> [TSE Growth] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 15th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2025 (July 2024 to March 2025) surged 33 times that of the same period last year, reaching 166 million yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 129 million yen is 128.7%, already exceeding the target and also exceeding the four-year average of 69.7%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the April to June period (4Q) is expected to turn into a loss of 37 million yen (compared to a profit of 71 million yen in the same period last year). However, if the fourth-quarter performance remains at the same level as the first three quarters, the full-year plan may be increased.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit grew 13.7% from the same period last year, reaching 83 million yen. However, the operating profit margin remained almost flat, changing from 4.1% in the same period last year to 4.1%.
