The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2025 (July 2024 to March 2025) significantly dropped 94.0% from the same period last year to 0.22 billion yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 0.4 billion yen was 56.3%, also falling below the four-year average of 70.3%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the April to June period (4Q) is expected to significant drop 95.5% from the same period last year to 0.17 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit/loss turned to a loss of 0.01 billion yen (compared to a profit of 2.31 billion yen in the same period last year). The operating profit margin worsened from 4.0% in the same period last year to 3.0%.
