Earnings ReportWELLNEO SUGAR Co., Ltd. <2117> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the afternoon session on May 14th (13:00). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ending March 2025 increased 0.7% from the previous period to 5.56 billion yen exceeding the previous forecast of 5 billion yen and resulted in an increase in profit, a complete reversal from the forecast for a decline in profit. For the fiscal year ending March 2026, the consolidated net income is expected to grow by 6.0% to 5.9 billion yen. This will be the fifth consecutive term of revenue and the third consecutive term of profit growth.
At the same time, the company increased the annual dividend for the previous term from 92 yen to 102 yen (compared to 102 yen in the prior term), and has decided to increase the dividend this fiscal year to 108 yen, an increase of 6 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income significantly dropped to 0.16 billion yen, a 76.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 3.5% in the same period last year to 1.9%.
