Earnings ReportHONDA MOTOR CO., LTD. <7267> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on May 13th (15:30). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ending March 2025 decreased 24.5% from the previous period to 835 billion yen. For the fiscal year ending March 2026 is also bleak, with an expected significant drop by 70.1% from the previous period to 250 billion yen.
At the same time, the company has decided to increase the dividend this fiscal year to 70 yen, an increase of 2 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income significantly dropped to 30.5 billion yen, an 87.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin drastically worsened from 5.6% in the same period last year to 1.4%.
