Earnings ReportTSUNAGU GROUP HOLDINGS Inc. <6551> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 12th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending September 2025 (October 2024 to March 2025) increased 19.6% from the same period last year, reaching 483 million yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 861 million yen was 56.1%, it was below the five-year average of 64.7%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the April to September period (2H) is expected to expand 70.3% from the same period last year, reaching 378 million yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit grew 6.0% from the same period last year, reaching 298 million yen. However, the operating profit margin worsened from 7.1% in the same period last year to 6.5%.
