Earnings ReportAGC Inc. <5201> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the afternoon session on May 12th (13:00). The consolidated net income/loss for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2025 (January to March) turned into a profit of 6.64 billion yen (compared to a loss of 20.9 billion yen in the same period last year). However, the progress rate toward the full-year plan of 80 billion yen was 8.3%, also falling below the five-year average of 32.7%.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (1Q), the operating profit margin improved from 4.8% in the same period last year to 5.2%.
