Guidance Update ReportNANKAI PLYWOOD CO.,LTD <7887> [TSE Std] announced a performance revision after the market closed on May 9th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 has been revised upward 27.3%, from the previous forecast of 1.3 billion yen to 1.65 billion yen (compared to 1.84 billion yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 29.5% to 10.2%. However, the full-year consolidated net income has decreased 74.8%, from the previous forecast of 0.4 billion yen to 0.1 billion yen (compared to 0.94 billion yen in the previous period), leading to an increase in the profit decline rate from 57.8% to 89.3%.
Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (2H) consolidated ordinary profit is expected to increase 23.4%, from the previous forecast of 1.51 billion yen to 1.87 billion yen (compared to 0.83 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), increasing the growth rate from 81.2% to 2.2 times.
