The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending September 2025 (October 2024 to March 2025) surged 6.1 times that of the same period last year, reaching 2.06 billion yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 10 billion yen was 20.6%, exceeding the five-year average of 11.3%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the April to September period (2H) is expected to expand 83.8% from the same period last year, reaching 7.93 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit surged 15 times that of the same period last year, reaching 1.03 billion yen. The operating profit margin drastically improved from 1.9% in the same period last year to 7.0%.
