Guidance Update ReportWacom Co.,Ltd. <6727> [TSE Prime] announced a revision to its performance and dividend after the market closed on April 23rd (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 has been revised upward 17.6%, from the previous forecast of 8.5 billion yen to 10 billion yen (compared to 9.85 billion yen in the previous period), turning to a 1.5% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook. However, the full-year consolidated net income has decreased 19.4%, from the previous forecast of 6.2 billion yen to 5 billion yen (compared to 4.56 billion yen in the previous period), leading to a reduction in the profit growth rate from 35.9% to 9.6%.
Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (2H) consolidated ordinary profit is expected to increase 40.4%, from the previous forecast of 3.71 billion yen to 5.21 billion yen (compared to 4.86 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 7.2% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the last fiscal year from the original plan of 20 yen to 22 yen (compared to 20 yen in the previous period).
