Earnings ReportJDC CORPORATION <1887> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on April 14th (16:30). The consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending May 2025 (June 2024 to February 2025) turned into a profit of 1.71 billion yen (compared to a loss of 10.6 billion yen in the same period last year). However, the progress rate toward the full-year plan of 3.4 billion yen was 50.4%, almost the same as the five-year average of 50.9%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the March to May period (4Q) is expected to grow 25.1% from the same period last year, reaching 1.68 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from December to February (3Q), the consolidated ordinary loss improved to a deficit of 0.87 billion yen (compared to a loss of 2.69 billion yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin significantly improved from -8.0% in the same period last year to -3.0%.
