The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending August 2025 (September 2024 to February 2025) surged 2.5 times that of the same period last year, reaching 511 million yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 630 million yen was 81.1%, also surpassing the progress rate of 48.6% from the same period of the previous year.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the March to August period (2H) is expected to drop 44.4% from the same period last year to 119 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from December to February (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 69.2% from the same period last year, reaching 220 million yen. However, the operating profit margin sharply declined from 46.1% in the same period last year to 22.6%.
