Earnings ReportFURUNO ELECTRIC CO., LTD. <6814> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on April 9th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending February 2025 expanded 73.3% from the previous period to 14.1 billion yen. However, for the fiscal year ending February 2026, the profit is expected to decrease by 11.7% from the previous period to 12.5 billion yen.
At the same time, the company increased the annual dividend for the previous term from 90 yen to 110 yen (compared to 60 yen in the prior term), and has decided to continue with a dividend of 110 yen for the current term as well.
In the most recent three-month period, from December to February (4Q), the consolidated ordinary profit surged 7.7 times that of the same period last year, reaching 3.33 billion yen. The operating profit margin drastically improved from 0.3% in the same period last year to 8.1%.
