Shindengen Electric Manufacturing Co.,Ltd. <6844> [TSE Prime] announced a revision to its performance and dividend after the market closed on March 18th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the fiscal year ending March 2025 has been revised downward from an expected profit of 1.7 billion yen to a loss of 0.8 billion yen (compared to a profit of 1.66 billion yen in the previous period), turning to a loss outlook.

Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (2H) consolidated ordinary profit/loss has been revised downward from an expected profit of 1.99 billion yen to a loss of 0.5 billion yen (compared to a profit of 0.98 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a loss outlook.

Due to a decline in performance, the company has significantly reduced its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 130 yen to 65 yen (compared to 130 yen in the previous period).
