6997 NIPPON CHEMI-CON CORPORATION 【J-GAAP】
Guidance Update ReportNIPPON CHEMI-CON CORPORATION <6997> [TSE Prime] announced a revision to its performance and dividend after the market closed on March 10th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 has decreased 61.0%, from the previous forecast of 5.9 billion yen to 2.3 billion yen (compared to 7.91 billion yen in the previous period), leading to an increase in the profit decline rate from 25.4% to 70.9%.
Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (2H) consolidated ordinary profit has decreased 64.3%, from the previous forecast of 5.6 billion yen to 2 billion yen (compared to 2.59 billion yen in the same period of the previous year). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 22.8% decrease in profit.
At the same time, the company has decided to forego the year-end lump-sum dividend for the current fiscal year, which had previously been undecided (compared to no dividend in the prior term), and the policy has been set to continue with no dividends.
