Earnings ReportAMADA CO., LTD. <6113> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on February 14th (15:30). The consolidated net income for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) decreased 27.3% from the same period last year to 20.3 billion yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 36 billion yen was 56.6%, also falling below the five-year average of 72.5%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to grow 23.8% from the same period last year, reaching 15.6 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated net income dropped to 5.25 billion yen, a 36.3% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin significantly dropped from 13.2% in the same period last year to 9.0%.
