ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL CENTER CO.,LTD. <4657> [TSE Std] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on February 14th (14:00). The consolidated operating profit/loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2025 (July to December) turned into a loss of 27 million yen (compared to a profit of 2 million yen in the same period last year).

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated operating profit for the January to June period (2H) is expected to grow 3.1% from the same period last year, reaching 337 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (2Q), the consolidated operating profit significantly dropped to 24 million yen, a 82.2% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin sharply declined from 10.8% in the same period last year to 1.7%.
