The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2025 (July to December) dropped 35.9% from the same period last year to 25 million yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 85 million yen was 29.4%, also falling below the four-year average of 60.4%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the January to June period (2H) is expected to expand 57.9% from the same period last year, reaching 60 million yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (2Q), the ordinary profit dropped to 12 million yen, a 45.5% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin significantly dropped from 12.0% in the same period last year to 7.0%.
