The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) expanded 1.34 billion yen, an increase 93.0% compared to the same period last year. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 1.22 billion yen is 109.4%, already exceeding the target and also exceeding the same period of the previous year of 80.6%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit/loss for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to turn into a loss of 0.11 billion yen (compared to a profit of 0.16 billion yen in the same period last year).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the ordinary profit significantly dropped to 0.01 billion yen, a 83.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 2.0% in the same period last year to 0.2%.
